Deadlining investigates how missing and murdered Black women become obscured within systems of urban redevelopment, jurisdiction, reporting, and public memory.
THE FINDING
Documented cases cluster within liminal zones of urban redevelopment and jurisdictional invisibility.
GEOGRAPHY OF INVISIBILITY
The highest documented case density occurred along Suitland Parkway, where redevelopment is transforming a corridor long shaped by displacement.
